Eugenio (Eugene) Oliva transitioned from the United States Marine Corps as a Sergeant, having served eight years on Active Duty from 2000 to 2008. Upon being Honorably Discharged, he accepted a position overseas, working for the Department of Defense as a GS-13/14 from 2008 to 2011. From 2012 until now, he has worked for the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE Euronext), now known as the InterContinental Exchange-New York Stock Exchange (ICE NYSE). He is the Business Analyst for the Market Oversight – Controls Group within NYSE Regulation, Inc.

He has a Bachelors of Science in Public Safety & Emergency Management from Grand Canyon University (GCU) in Arizona. He is currently pursuing an MBA with a concentration in Business Intelligence and Analytical Operations from DeVry University in New York. He also plans to pursue 2nd MBA and eventually his Law Degree (JD).

Due to his work and education commitments, Eugene has resigned his Board Membership (Nov 2012-January 2014), but he will continue to support the mission of the Women Veterans and Families Network to the best of his abilities.
